Organic Chai Spice Sugar
Warm Spice for Autumn Baking & Everyday Treats
There is something wonderfully comforting about the scent of chai spices drifting through the kitchen. Our Organic Chai Spice Sugar brings that familiar warmth to baking, finishing and everyday kitchen creations with a fragrant blend of Organic Chai Spice Sugar.
Warm, aromatic and gently spiced, it is an easy way to add a little seasonal character to everything from cupcakes and scones to cookies, muffins and warm drinks. Sprinkle it over freshly baked treats, use it to finish a buttercream or whipped cream, or add it to your favourite autumn baking recipe.
Made in small batches, our Chai Spice Sugar is inspired by the flavours of September—the return to the oven, cooler mornings, warming spices, and something sweet alongside a cup of tea.
A little sprinkle brings the feeling of fall to the kitchen.
DESCRIPTION: What Makes Our Chai Spice Sugar Special?
Our Organic Chai Spice Sugar combines organic sugar with a fragrant blend of warming chai spices. The sugar provides sweetness while the spices add layers of cinnamon, cardamom and other traditional chai-inspired notes.
It is intentionally versatile. Use it as an ingredient when baking or keep it beside the sugar bowl as a finishing touch for something freshly made.
Because it is made in small batches, the spice and sugar may naturally vary slightly in appearance from batch to batch.

TASTY PAIRINGS:
• In Your Cup – For a cozy twist, stir a small spoonful into coffee, hot chocolate or a warm milk-based drink. It also makes a lovely finishing touch around the rim of a warm chai or coffee cup.
• Apple & Pear – The warm spice complements the sweetness and gentle acidity of fresh or baked apples and pears.
• Pumpkin – A natural pairing for pumpkin breads, muffins, cupcakes, pies and scones.
• Vanilla – Vanilla and chai make a wonderfully soft combination. Try it over vanilla buttercream, whipped cream or a simple vanilla cake.
• Chocolate – A little chai spice adds warmth and depth to chocolate cookies, brownies and cakes.
• Maple – Maple and chai are especially good together in fall baking. Try the sugar with maple-glazed scones or muffins.
MORE WAYS TO ENJOY CHAI SPICE SUGAR:
• Use it to bring warm chai flavour to your favourite recipes:
• Sprinkle over muffins, cupcakes and quick breads before baking
• Add to cookie or shortbread dough
• Finish pumpkin, apple or pear baking
• Sprinkle over scones
• Add it to cake or cupcake batter alongside our Ground Chai Spice
• Use it to decorate the tops of buttercream-frosted cupcakes
• Stir into crumble or streusel toppings
• Sprinkle over baked French toast or pancakes
BAKING TIPS:
• Start with a light hand
Chai spices are fragrant, so a little goes a long way when using the sugar as a finishing ingredient.
• Use it with our Ground Chai Spice
For recipes where you want a more pronounced chai flavour, add the Ground Chai Spice in the batter or dough and finish with Chai Spice Sugar for an extra layer of spice.
• Add it before or after baking.
For a subtle caramelized spice finish, sprinkle it over muffins, scones or cookies before they go into the oven. For a more noticeable sparkle and fresh spice aroma, add it after baking.
• Try it on your favourite fall bake.
You don’t need a special recipe. A simple apple muffin, pumpkin loaf or batch of sugar cookies can become something distinctly seasonal with a little Chai Spice Sugar.
STORE IT PROPERLY:
Keep tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. If the sugar begins to clump, gently break it apart before using.
