An exceptional Chunmee, full-bodied with a light spring bouquet. Chunmee translated means 'Precious Eyebrow’ as the shape of the leaves is reminiscent of an eyebrow. The tea leaves are hand-rolled in a traditional fashion and pan-fired requiring great skill as the final tea is considered a work of art. Patience, great hand coordination, temperature control and timing achieve a fine jade colour leaf and mellow yellowish brew. Additionally, this tea is exceptionally high in polyphenols and antioxidants making it a desirable tea for those looking to enjoy the many health benefits of green tea.

Tasting Notes: : A stunning full-bodied tea with notes of toast, sweet plum and moss

Caffeine Level: Low

Brewing Temperature: 85ºC/185ºF. Bring pure water to the boil 100ºC/212ºF and let it cool down to 85ºC/185ºF.

Steep Time: 3-5 minutes

Tea Tip: This tea is meant to be sipped and savoured on its own. No milk, sugar, lemon or mint are recommended.
