Hibiscus Margarita Lime Pops

INGREDIENTS
*½ cup dried hibiscus flowers
*1 tsp. dried mint or 2 sprigs fresh
*4 cups pure water
*¼ fresh lime juice
*¼ cup + of agave or honey (sweeten to taste)
Optional – for margarita pops add:
*1 ½ oz tequila
*½ oz orange liqueur

INSTRUCTIONS
*Add hibiscus and mint to a heat proof container
*Bring water to a full rolling boil, pour over flowers and cover
*Steep 15 minutes or longer for more intense flavour
*Strain and stir in honey or agave and lime juice
*Add alcohols if using
*Pour into molds and insert sticks half way through freezing (so they stand up)
*Freeze until solid.

SERVINGS
Makes approx. 6-8 ice pops

TIPS
*Make without alcohol and freeze in ice cube trays. Pop 3 or 4 cubes in your water bottle and fill with chilled water for tasty iced water on the go!
