A delicious fall-inspired twist on a favourite Italian classic – Pumpkin Spice Affogato! Traditionally made with coffee, we’ve made our affogato with Organic Pumpkin Spice Black Tea. It’s a quick, easy but oh-so-good dessert that’s as much fun to sip as it is to eat – add a drizzle of chocolate liqueur and a few chocolate shavings for a delightful after-dinner treat.

Pumpkin Spice Affogato Recipe

INGREDIENTS
* 4 teaspoons Organic Pumpkin Spice
* 1 ½ cups pure water brought to a rolling boil
* 2 scoops vanilla bean ice cream (or plant-based ice cream)
* Pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon
* Optional: Drizzle of chocolate liqueur & chocolate shavings
* 2 glass dessert dishes

INSTRUCTIONS
* Add Pumpkin Spice Tea to a heatproof container or teapot
* Pour over freshly boiled water
* Steep 5 minutes (if not using a diffuser teapot, strain chai)
* Put a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream in each dish
* Pour over freshly brewed tea
* Drizzle with chocolate liqueur if using
* Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
* Top with chocolate shavings if using
* Enjoy!

SERVINGS
Makes 2 servings

TIPS
* Love coffee too? Try this affogato with our Toffee Creme Brûlée Pu-Erh
* Add more or less tea depending on how strong you want the brew
* For a sweet dessert add a drizzle of maple syrup to tea before pouring over ice cream
* Take it over the top with a dollop of freshly whipped cream
