Switch up your next London Fog by adding rose petals and enjoy a lovely twist on the original latte. The beautiful floral notes of bergamot that perfume Earl Grey Tea, are heightened by the addition of aromatic roses. If you love lavender, then take this rosy latte a step further and make it with Lavender Earl Grey Tea. The floral blend of rose, lavender and bergamot is truly a marriage made in heaven. Whether you need an afternoon pick-me-up or a soothing evening sipper by adding a splash of gin, this easy recipe makes a delicious latte you absolutely must try!

Rose Petal London Fog

MAKES 2 SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS
• 2 heaped teaspoons of The Best Earl Grey or Lavender Earl Grey Tea
• 2 heaped teaspoons of dried Organic Rose Petals
• 1¼ cup boiled water
• 1¼ cup whole milk of choice
• 2 teaspoons of Rose Petal Sweet Syrup OR (substitute with 2 teaspoons of sweetener of choice)
• Rose Petal garnish

OPTIONAL
• Splash of Gin

HOW TO
• Add 2 heaped teaspoons of The Best Earl Grey OR Lavender Earl Grey along with the Rose Petals into a tea pot
• Pour in the freshly boiled water. Close lid to keep warm and steep 5 minutes
• Meanwhile steam milk of choice OR heat milk in a sauce pot on the stove top over low heat until hot (do not boil)
• Froth milk for serving

TO SERVE
• Strain steeped Earl Grey mixture into 2 cups or mugs
• Stir 1 teaspoon of Rose Petal Syrup into each cup (or other sweetener if substituting)
• Stir in a splash of Gin if using
• Top with frothed milk and garnish with rose petals. Enjoy!

TIPS
• To enhance the rose flavour even further, coarse grind a few dried rose petals in a spice grinder to create rose petal dust and sprinkle on top of your latte
