A simple, show-stopping appetizer featuring our Strawberry Rose Preserves
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 small baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
• 4 oz (115 g) creamy feta cheese, crumbled or whipped
• 4 – 5 tbsp Strawberry Rose Preserves
• Pomegranate arils
• Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish
Optional: In the summertime add a garnish of fresh rose petals
HOW TO:
1. Toast the crostini if desired: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast 5–7 minutes, until lightly golden and crisp. Let cool slightly.
2. Assemble the bites: Spread a little feta on each crostini, then top with a small dollop of Strawberry Rose Preserves.
3. Garnish: Add a tiny rosemary sprig or chopped rosemary to each bite, then sprinkle with pomegranate arils. (Rosemary pairs beautifully with strawberries)
SERVE: Arrange on a platter, add a few more pomegranate arils, and serve
